If you said yes to any of these then our 1 week puppy board and train program is for you! Training your puppy takes a lot of time and effort not to mention a tremendous amount of patience! If you don’t have the time in your schedule between work, kids, and life, then we are here to help! 

Our 1 week puppy board and train program is something we are very passionate about here at Snell’s Innovative Training because it sets a solid foundation for you and your new family member. Benjamin Franklin once said “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This could not be more accurate - especially for puppies! They are at the age where they are soaking up information like a sponge. Unfortunately, if left to their own devices, puppies will usually develop problem behaviors while finding ways to entertain themselves (barking, biting, chewing, jumping, digging, etc..) We want to make sure the things they are learning are desirable behaviors. Get ahead of the curve with this amazing program!

At Snell’s Innovative Training, we pride ourselves on training you, the owner, just as much as we train your puppy! We believe true success lies in your ability to maintain and continue your dog’s training in everyday life. Throughout your dog’s board and train we will have a virtual session, a graduation session at your home, and a follow up session. Our 1 week puppy board and train is an investment, but the return is worth every penny!

  • This will change from puppy to puppy depending on what they need but usually this program will include a:

    • Slip Lead

    • Safety Clip

    • Boarding Rights

    You will be responsible for buying:

    • Treat Pouch

    • 20’ Long Line

    • Elevated Place Bed

    • Standard Flat Buckle Collar (If you don’t already have one)

    We will send you links to the products we recommend but we don’t include those products in our program so you can choose the one you like best and have the option to get more cost effective alternatives if you’d like.

  • The behaviors we address in this program will vary from puppy to puppy, but common issues we cover are:

    • Crate Training

    • Potty Training

    • Manners

      • Combat barking, biting, and jumping.

    • Basic Obedience

      • Sit

      • Down

      • Leash Manners

      • Name Recognition

      • Place (go to your bed)

      • Recall (come when called)

    • Confidence Building

    • Proper Socialization

    • Mild/Moderate Reactivity

    • Handling Exercises (Grooming, playing with nails, ears, mouth, etc..)

  • An ideal candidate for our 1-week puppy board and train program is a proactive owner who wants to set a solid foundation for their puppy and learn how to maximize their pup’s potential. Pretty much any puppy that is fully vaccinated is a good candidate for this program! Whether they are the most well behaved or most mischievous puppy in the litter, early training is always a great idea!
