3-Week Advanced Board & Train

Do you want to be able to have people over for dinner and not worry about your dog jumping on everyone, stealing their food, and barking every time someone comes through the door? Do you wish you had the freedom to take your dog out in public, on family vacations, or on weekend hikes? Does your dog have severe resource guarding? Or do you just want to be able to walk down the street with a calm and attentive dog?

If you said yes to any of these then our 3 week board and train program is for you! Training your dog takes a lot of time and effort not to mention a tremendous amount of patience! If you don’t have the time in your schedule between work, kids, and life, then we are here to help! 

At Snell’s Innovative Training, we pride ourselves on training you, the owner, just as much as we train your dog! We believe true success lies in your ability to maintain and continue your dog’s training in everyday life. Throughout your dog’s board and train we will have a virtual session, an in person session at our facility, a graduation at your home, and 2 follow up sessions, either at your home or in public. Our 3 week board and train program is an investment but the return is worth every penny!

  • This will change from case to case depending on what you and your dog need, but usually this program will include a:

    • 20’ Long Line

    • 4’ Training Leash

    • Slip Lead (if applicable)

    • Ecollar (if applicable)

    • Herm Sprenger Prong Collar (if applicable)

    • Boarding Rights

    You will be responsible for buying a:

    • Treat Pouch

    • Elevated Place Bed

    • Standard Flat Buckle Collar (If you don’t already have one)

    We can send you the products we recommend but we don’t include those products in our program so you can choose which designs/colors/materials you like best and pick more cost effective options if you’d like.

  • What we do in this program will vary from dog to dog but common issues we cover are:

    • Manners

      • Combat barking, biting, jumping, and pulling on the leash.

    • Basic Obedience

      • Sit

      • Down

      • Leave It

      • Leash Manners

      • Place (go to your bed)

      • Recall (come when called)

    • Crate Training

    • Counter Surfing

    • Confidence Building

    • Mild-Advanced Reactivity

    • Understanding Boundaries

    • Threshold Training (No running out of the door)

    • Handling Exercises (Grooming, playing with nails, ears, mouth, etc..)

  • An ideal candidate for our 3-week advanced board and train program is a dog 6 months or older with mild to advanced behavioral issues and an owner who is prepared to maintain the training after the program is done.
